Monterey to San Francisco

Up n at ’em! San Francisco beckons!

We took a leisurely drive to Santa Cruz, where we took a stroll on the boardwalk. It was a glorious day, blue skies and all, but not warm enough to dip toes in the bay.

After Santa Cruz, we took a drive through Silicon Valley and wandered around Google for a bit. I was freaking out that any minute Google Security were going to tell us to sod off, but we were able to walk among the tech heads until it was time to keep heading North.

After arriving in San Francisco, we headed straight up to Coit Tower. I am so glad we did! It gave the most incredible views of San Francisco.

We spent the rest of the afternoon revisiting Lombard Street, Alamo Square, the Painted Ladies, then hit Fisherman’s Wharf for some dinner.
Not a bad view…and some pretty fair company 🙂
