Today we hit Santa Monica pier and hired some bikes to ride from Santa Monica to Marina Del Rey. We had planned to ride to El Segundo Brewery but from Marina Del Rey it was still a 45 minute bike ride, which in itself was not so much of an issue, but given we then had to get all the way back to Santa
Monica, was a bit ambitious. So we returned the bikes and drove out to El Segundo to sample Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull IPA. Well Pete sampled that, I had a cherry cola made from all manner of natural ingredients. It was pretty good too.
Our car is in here somewhere…
After this, we figured we could do with some more retail therapy and so hit up The Citadel. It was crazy town here! Every food shop had about 20 people waiting in line to be served. The carpark was like Westfield Tuggerah at Christmas time. We stalked some prospective car parks and before too long scored a park. I guess my time at Newcastle Uni has paid off afterall! J

sunny Sunday afternoon, no one could blame them. People were set up with picnics and all. The view over the city was awesome and an added bonus was a sideways view of the Hollywood sign.

Time to bid farewell to Sin City, which was probably a good thing. Given how increasingly busy we saw the city get from Wednesday to Friday night, I can only imagine how Vegas goes off…
