There are some people in our lives that seem impossible to buy a carefully considered gift for – whether it be Christmas, or birthdays, weddings or just because!

Perfect to record events, stories and experiences from their travels. Small enough to pop in a carry on bag or backpack. Also perfect for planning and keeping notes, especially when travelling off the grid.
2. Foreign currency for the traveller’s next destination
This one is handy for a few reasons, the first is that it can be time consuming to get your hands on foreign currency as some providers need you to pre-order or there are limits on currencies available. So the gift of some foreign currency is a gift two fold – saving time and efforts and a practical gift for any adventurers future travels.
An alternative to this is a prepaid Mastercard or Visa, such as the Australia Post Travel Platinum Mastercard or similar – with this being a super handy option for a traveller who is heading to multiple or yet to be determined destinations.
3. A Photo Book from Journi App

We have tens of thousands of photos of our travels. It always feels too difficult to create a well curated, meaningful record of our travels. However we recently started using Journi photo books to turn our digital photos into books we display and regularly look through. I particularly love the map feature which you can add to any page (thanks to the metadata from your photos).
4. Give the gift or luck and protection
There are many good luck, fortune and protection symbols that you can gift to a traveller such as a Saint Christopher medal, a tumbled piece of malachite (loose or set in a piece of jewellery), a lucky horn, or something similar that aligns with your beliefs. A little bit of you and a reminder of your love for your traveller can be with them, no matter how far or wide they roam.
