Today we got dressed up in our wedding clothes and wandered around Vegas.
Our original plan, when we were engaged, was to elope in Vegas. But we also wanted the kids to be there, and probably our parents, and all of that was going to cost a lot of money. So we opted for a small wedding at home but it was always the plan to hit up Vegas in our finery. We had hoped to renew our vows in Vegas, but it was an expense (financial and of time) that we did not want to outlay so late into our trip. Who knows, that may be an item for a future anniversary, etc.
After we ticked off all of our stops, we returned to the hotel and got changed into our civilian clothing and ventured up the far end of the strip. We hit up The Strip Gun Club and Stratosphere.
We then hit up the buffet at MGM. Oh. My. God. So much food.
It was expensive, for a buffet, but everything on the buffet was incredible and tasted like it had been cooked just for me. Nom! But man, did I have a tummy ache! I waddled my way around, like a fat penguin. There really is such a thing as too much of a good thing!
